The property
It’s the classic family conundrum: you need rest and relaxation but the kids are bouncing off the walls. The place to go so that everyone gets the break they need is this resort. High energy needs are sated with a resort pool and waterslide, two jumping pillows, playground, half tennis court and holiday activity programs. More sedate activities include dining at Beachside Eats Cafe or simply hanging at the beach.The accommodation
The range of places to lay your head doesn’t get broader than this, particularly if you're looking for Umina Beach camping. There are 20 different types of accommodation here, ranging from Powered sites, close to the kitchen and other amenities, through to the luxurious Seabreeze Spa Villa, with its bifold doors opening up to your private verandah and ocean view. And if all that activity has worked up your appetite, you’re catered for on that front, too. The Box on the Water’s prime waterfront position is matched by a classic seafood heavy menu, while the generous 3pm to 6pm timeslot and $5 drinks on Friday, Saturday and Sunday make for very happy hours indeed.Continuing the sea theme is Umiya, a fantastic and authentic Japanese restaurant – what it lacks in floor space, it makes up for in taste.
