Frequently asked questions

I have My NRMA. Can I add a vehicle to my membership and get the discount?

No. The discount if applied to the second or additional car added to an existing membership. Once you add a vehicle, any additional vehicles added will be eligible for the discount.

I am a Gold member. Can I add a vehicle and get the discount?

For Gold members, the 20% saving is inclusive of tenure discount. No further discounts apply on the second vehicle. Thereafter, on the third vehicle and beyond (where tenure discount does not apply), the 20% savings can be applied. For Gold 50+ and Gold Life members are entitled to this offer when adding a third vehicle and beyond, as tenure discount is already received on up to two vehicles.

How many vehicles can I add to my membership?

This is unlimited.

Can I add a vehicle on a monthly payment package?

Yes, this discount is available for both monthly and annual payment frequencies.

How soon can I request roadside assistance after adding the vehicle?

Benefits are not available until 48 hours after joining, adding or upgrading a subscription. However, after paying the relevant on-road join and go fee, members can get immediate assistance.

For Complete Care and Ultimate Care the major breakdown benefits do not apply if immediate roadside assistance is required or for pre-existing conditions.

* Offer available for new and existing members who already have a vehicle on a Classic Care or Premium Care or Premium Plus or Everyday Care or Complete Care or Ultimate Care subscription package. Savings of 20% is based on applicable standard package price for both annual or monthly payment plan (over 12 month term) respectively when you purchase Everyday Care or Complete Care or Ultimate Care for another nominated vehicle for the first 12 months. For Gold members, the 20% saving is inclusive of tenure discount - no further discounts apply on the second vehicle. Thereafter, on the third vehicle and beyond (where tenure discount does not apply), the 20% savings can be applied. For Gold 50+ and Gold Life members are entitled to this offer when adding a third vehicle and beyond, as tenure discount is already received on up to two vehicles. In all cases, this offer is only applicable for the first 12 months and at renewal, price reverts to standard subscription price. Offer is not available on My NRMA or Free2Go subscription packages.
